Divisions include Juniors, Open, Local Legends from Coomera to Pottsville, and a Defence Forces category honouring those who serve. Adaptive Surfing remains a key feature, ensuring surfers with disabilities can experience the thrill of riding Kirra’s famous waves with the support they need.

Adding colour and comedy to the line-up, the ever-popular Fancy Dress Surfing division guarantees laughs, creativity and unforgettable moments, with past surfers donning costumes ranging from Elvis to outrageous pop-culture characters. While a perfect Kirra barrel can never be promised, one thing is certain—there’s something for everyone, and a great time is guaranteed both in and out of the water.
